Pieter de Kok is compelled by this crucial aspect in the arts and researches what authenticity means for his own work. At Stichting outLINE he presents two identical monumental watercolour drawings. They are manually constructed copies of one of his earlier works. The materiality and expressive process are also of importance in these copies. The original is painted after a cut-out from a photographic image from the media: a Russian military parade.
